Private Duty vs Traditional Home Care
Private duty, also known as private care or insurance-paid in-home services, differs from traditional home care in a few ways, including the types of services administered and the payment method used. Private duty is mainly for elderly individuals who require assistance with day-to-day activities, allowing them to remain in their own homes safely and comfortably.
We want to provide help with whatever the client or family needs in order to maintain independence. In terms of payment, services may be covered by a long-term care insurance policy, government programs, or privately by the patient and family. While Alternative Private Care fees are private pay, our staff may be able to assist with long-term care insurance reimbursements, as well as VA benefits.
